Have you “unzipped” the downloaded file, as your window header says “zip” file and the .exe should say .TR2
Re: Nevada Adventure play
Hey there. Thanks for the reply. It's unzipping when I double click on the .exe. When the unzipping completed it appeared a black window as if the game is about to start and then this error. Haven't changed anything on the file names.Storm Chaser wrote: ↑11 Jul 2019 18:33Have you “unzipped” the downloaded file, as your window header says “zip” file and the .exe should say .TR2

I don’t know why that’s happening. Hopefully someone will know the answer to this problem.

Just had a thought. Normally you right click on the zipped folder to unzip the folder not the .exe.
Re: Nevada Adventure play
That's what winrar software does. It opens a zip file to see what's inside (without unzipping) and double click on what you want to deal with. In this case the .exe file. I use it in all TRLE games. But I tried now to unzip the folder seperately and still the same error notification.Storm Chaser wrote: ↑11 Jul 2019 20:13Just had a thought. Re: Nevada Adventure play
Sorry but that’s got me stumped as to what the problem is.
Re: Nevada Adventure play
It's ok. I'm sure someone here must have a solution. Thank you for your time. Can't wait to play the game.

Have you tried, well... running the setup?
Unzip the files, right click the exe, select "Create shortcut". Right click the shortcut, go to Properties, in the Target field, add "-setup" to the end of the path, with the quotation marks, and add a space inbetween as well, apply changes.
An example of what it should look like:
D:\Example\TombRaider\tomb3.exe "-setup"
Double clicking the shortcut should bring up the setup first. After applying the settings, the game should start.

Re: Nevada Adventure play
You should really include setup.bat in those downloads, they make things much easier.
Open notepad, type "start tomb3.exe -setup", save the file as .bat, put in game folder.
This works on every computer, no need to create the shortcut for setup every time.
Also works for other TRs, you just need to always type the exe name like the one used.

Re: Nevada Adventure play
just delete config.txt and the setup will run
but to me it seems that you try to run the game directly from the zip folder
you need to extract the zip file

I added them in a text so that I won't ask the same again in case this happens again in the future
