Current Project Melnikov Island.

Post by Storm Chaser » 25 Sep 2019 01:14

Yetis, snow leopards, eagles, Russian textures plus plenty of gun toting baddies. Based very loosely on TR2 Gold. Currently about 1/3rd through the build so will be some time before it get released. Lots and lots of snow! TR3 based level.

A bit of Desk Top Publishing and we have an amended title picture that fits in nicely with the story line of this level.

I felt it was too linear and a bit dull overall, so rather than mess about editing it and changing rooms etc thought I’d just start again.

STORY:
Reports indicate that a unofficial and illegal communications array has been set up in an old abandoned base on Melnikov Island, which is contrary to international agreements. Several government operatives have already been sent to the island to investigate and none have ever been seen again! So the English Secret Services have commissioned Lara to sort the problem out. Lara, therefore, travels to Melnikov Island to get proof of the activities to return to the authorities. As it is a severe winter the weather conditions are treacherous, the island has dangerous wildlife and is also heavily guarded.
