Force enemies to fight each other

Post by justin » 31 Jul 2019 19:04

I think this question has been asked before, I can't find the topic(s) though. I'm wondering if it's possible to force enemies to act like Scorpions and fight each other. I love my scorpion fighting my croc, but I'd love it even more if the Croc actually fought back :D

Do we know what sets the scorpion apart, or is it completely hardcoded?

TROOPS is the slot that fights back. :D
VON_CROY also fights enemies (wild boars in TR4).

But I have no idea how that could be implemented in other enemy slots like the crocodile.
Would be cool to have that.
Nothing is in contradiction with nature,
only in contradiction with what we know of it.

I feel like there must be a way to make other slots behave like the Scorpion (attacks all) and Troops (attacks non-Lara until attacked by Lara). Both of their AI is really cool, and while we can put anything into those slots, we're always limited to just 1 of each :\

Remember that you need to make him immortal because otherwise he will die quickly and can barely help you.-(it's you want)

Limited:

Enemy= TROOPS,100, NEF_SET_AS_MORTAL, IGNORE, IGNORE, 100, IGNORE, IGNORE
HP DAMAGE(lara,scorpion)

Immortal
Enemy= TROOPS,100, NEF_SET_AS_IMMORTAL, IGNORE, IGNORE, 100, IGNORE, IGNORE
I'm actually happy to be here, but so many projects, that I hardly know which one to start / finish, any idea? :roll:

Correction, I forgot about the AssignSlot command, so we can actually have many different Troops and Scorpions, so that's something I should try working with :)

No question, I just wanted to correct my earlier statement about being limited to 1 Scorpion slot and 1 Troops slot :)
