Noe - Accessing

Post by Marksdad » 01 Jun 2018 17:00

I'm around 45 mins in,and have reached a water tunnel with a grated exit and a nearby underwater lever in a small alcove.
It doesn't appear to do anything,as the nearby grate remains closed.

Is there another lever somewhere?

Get back to the dungeon, there is a unblocked lever you can use.

Thanks for that,Sylwia. :D

Ok,I've now reached that room with the electrified half of the eye piece.
There's a hang lever way up on a beam, but it seems impossible to reach.
Can now access the large outside area;but I appear to have done everything there (the large double doors across the chasm are shut).
Any hints? :)

At one place you can climb up. Look for two wooden bars. With the upper one you can hang to the jump lever.

Thanks for that. Sneaky!

OK,I'm afraid this is going to be a 'hold my hand' level:
the Demi-god in the next room keeps dropping a key on the electrified floor. How do I switch off the power?
I saw a trapdoor opening after I pulled one of the levers in the upper level of the Demi-god room. It looked familiar;but I can't remember how the heck I get there :(

This is a bug. I could't get out of that place without the key.
You must reload and lure the demigod away from that burning floor. Then you get the key.

I've encountered a game-stopping anomaly in this level. Near the end, after using a monkey swing and opening large wooden doors that lead to a large room with water below, there's no apparent way to proceed. At 39:35 of the Doggett video walk, Lara turns around and jumps up to grab a corner section of the ledge that's lower than the rest of it. However, in my game the ledge is uniformly level and too high up for Lara to reach. (There's a plinth up there with an object on it. When Lara picks it up, an underwater gate opens.) Has anyone else played beyond this point? If so, how?

Thanks, I'll try that. But if that doesn't work, could you post here a savegame at this spot (while pulling up, or just after pulling up onto that ledge) so I can insert it in the walkthrough (and continue with the game)?

Edit: No, it didn't work, so I'll need that savegame (for myself and for others who may experience the same thing).

Vimmers, we have forgotten nothing. How about that savegame?

By the way, I downloaded the level on my office computer, and I see an immediate difference. In the current version Lara is wearing a black ski mask. In the version on my home computer she has no mask on. I'll report back when I reach the trouble spot that, I see, is affecting others besides me.
