I'm stuck...I have the broom, the heart/dagger combo, and just placed the snake head and entered a room with a hanging spike ball and a figure on a throne behind a door. I have various ammo, but my only weapons are pistols. Where do I go now?

Snake head is a secret and that room with the ball also a secret.
Go back to the big room where the torch puzzle was. Insert the heart + dagger.

Thank you vimmers and MpGrill for your replies. That torch puzzle was the ONLY place I didn't go back to. Next question, is it possible to to back far enough to get the first secret? I can only go back as far as the blacksmith's cabin.

the first secret was the sword/crowbar
and u can't get that now if u don't have it already

I'm stuck near the beginning, in the room with collapsible tiles that lead to a lever that supposedly opens a gate in the nearby room because that gate is shown after I pull the lever. I thought it's a timed run but it's not. Is there another lever that I missed earlier? I don't see anything, just a ledge in an earlier room with water that I couldn't get on because it's too high and too far.
I don't see anything in the cottage or around.

As many old members here know, I am a secret hunter. But mostly they are logical to find. Back to the game levels in old days, they mostly leave some logical clues for secrets. But many game levels later, finding secrets relies on rather luck than logic to find. However, when no logical clues, I'll try to use eyes and binocular to check if there's some well-hidden cralwspace or crevice, etc. This, IMHO, degrade the fun to find secrets.

Ok, get down to my question: In this game (I am not dishonoring the effort and high-quality of this great game), for secret 5, either way is no possibility to find it. But I think maybe I'm not good enough to see the possible "clues" or "hidden opening". Can anyone tell me if there is one?

Detour for a Secret, but brings you to the same place as through the corridor: Walk right to the pit, turn around and drop from the edge of the floor onto the waterfall below. Sliding backwards, grab the edge and shimmy to the crawlspace (bit right probably) to get in. Down into the room and up the stairs in the back, grab Secret #5, the Laser Sight and the Shotgun. Hop into the hole in the floor there and swim through, up and you are in the Dragon Hall, with one more secret added to your list.

Yes, I doubt there's a secret in that hall and (a bit cheating) check with walkthrough to see there's really a secret #5. But I don't know how can one find that secret, if without pure luck or curiosoity to try sliding down?

Then hunt them down ! You Gotta find 'Em All

Exploring a big, red, mystic, glowing pit with a ˝hidden˝crawlspace is not luck.
You can even see the crawlspace with your eyes and binoculars from the right angle.

I doubt the person who gave you the name ˝secret hunter˝
What else you need to be if not curious to get all secrets ?
All secrets are connected and you cant get all if you havent got the previous ones. Maybe you will have more problems with the secrets.
