I placed the second forest mask, got the skull key, and it seems I am about to leave this area but there is a secret with ammo behind a gate which is obscured by greenery and I haven't found the way to open it. Any suggestions?

I have the Bow & Site. But can't figure out what I shoot / ? to gain access to this gate.
I'm on 3rd floor of Kingdom above trees and have activated nearby lever into next room. tnx

Climb to the topmost floor (there's a ladder behind you), go outdoors and look into the trees for something to shoot.

Strange, but I can't seem to get out of the crawl space. Haven't played TR for quite some time but it's still the Alt and forward keys, isn't it?
