The first doesn't look Christmassy at all, just freezing cold with the odd decorations thrown in... :(

But thanks, anyway! :)

Anything wrong with today's download? I see it spinning round and round and I'm not even sure it's downloading anything...

It did download. It was just a weird download. Ok.

Sorry to say this, but you sound like you have a joyless life because of this constant moaning and groaning

Cool. Sorry to say this, but you seem to be the one with a joyless life because comments usually reflect ourselves and not those we're commenting on.

So... how very joyful is your life then now that you come to think of it, hmm? :wink3:

On a more serious note (not that my previous comments aren't serious because they are and well deserved too), do you happen to believe you come to the net to enjoy the safe homely joyfully perfect rainbow-crossed environment you won't easily find in the society that surrounds you?
Sorry, mate, but everybody typing whatever they do on the net are people and they type from the world, not from la-la unicorn land.

It's us who make it a better or worse place to be. Us all. My comment was rather normal and fairly common. Yours sounds like a bloody rant.

:laugh4: Yup, for you Jorge, I for one am very pleased and gratefull that someone goes through the trouble making us Advent levels. It doesn't say that they have to be Xmas levels, now does it?
I even like the recipes they offer as some of them are really yummy.
Not so much into the WADS or textures but a lot of people are, so there you go :D

Yeah, of course. I was just asking because the download went round in circles (Chrome) instead of the usual completion of a circle. In that sense, the comment I got was... sorry... stupid.
As for the rest, different opinions make the forums alive. All the same kill them. :)

Somehow I have the feeling that this was the comment Scottie was referring to primarily, not the later one about the circular download (which I agree was rather innocuous, but may have been regarded as fuel on the fire).

The lawyer's eagle eye. I believe you must have nailed it, the big picture. ;)

Well, even so I still think that comment was also innocuous - after all, we're not all part of some sect where everybody has to agree to everything or shut the hell up. And that comment wasn't insulting in the slightest. It even made (makes) sense. And censorship is most unwelcome in any forum, I think. Whenever there's something really off, then there are mods and admins to take care of the matter, right? I really think that's how it has to work.

Of course I can understand people may have many reasons to insult others but I also believe they should think it over for long before doing so - because Scottie's post is definitely insulting and totally out of the blue. I don't know, somebody who does it may be depressed and unable to put up with anything they may view as even slightly "negative". That's one possible reason. There are many others and they're all worse.

As I'm not expecting any kind of apologies, even though the harm has been done in the sense that others may start viewing me as the "negative" member just because, I can only hope this nonsense ends here and we go on discussing things as civilly as usual. :)
