Himalayan Mysteries Technical Difficulties

Post by trplayer » 20 May 2008 05:19

I am trying to play Titak's Himalayan Mysteries level, but it is giving me tons of technical problems:

First, it crashes on me all the dern time, sometimes going so far as to shut the computer down. I'm running XP.

Second, there is a slot in the save game area that I simply cannot save on. It always says Empty Slot, and when I click to save on it, nothing happens, and if I wanna load from it, there is no save game there.

Then, at one time the sound just stopped coming through, but was fine on the computer, just stopped working on the game in the middle of a cutscene.

Please help, the game is good so far :(

Thanks so much,
Jon

Hej,

This is just quoting the readme :?

The thing with the saving problem sounds as if you don't have a folder save in the trle/ game folder. This is needed.

Best play the level directly from the folder you unzipped the download to instead of trying to move the files into trle folders, which may also have audio making trouble.

crashing : make sure you play with the tomb4.exe in the download - once again, play from the downloaded folder to avoid any of those possible problems.
