Hmmm - I'm just doing CIL, but either Masahito forgot to include an audio, or my original LE-audiofolder isn't complete. There's a trigger for 001.wav, but such a number doesn't exist - or does it?

It would mean the mistake of the author. If there's an enemy/trap nearby, it's the most likely he wanted to write "002", but his hand slipped and he made a typo. In such case, You can copy 002 to the folder and rename it to 001, so it will trigger properly.

Everytime I hear about such mistake, unknown for years, I feels both fascinated and annoyed... It's like a discovery of an additional secret of a level, never intended to be found, anyway crying for being.

I have prepared a few larger levelsets but still have some questions:

1) In Mystery of Eden there was a sound (.wav) included in the download and the builder told us to put this one in the sample folder. What should I do now?

2) Which things do I have to download to customize the tomb4.exe? I downloaded patches.rar and the latest TREP version and a fresh .exe but I cannot open the trep076.exe...

Do you mean Mystery of Eden 1? There is no Soundfile included. Where have you found it?
_____

The best procedure for TREP-Levels is to ask the levelbuilder. I have done this to Bojrkraider (TR Search Emergency) and he has sent me a Widescreen-TREP-Exe for this Level. The only bad thing is that it doesn't snowing in the Level after the train. But Michiel will fix this (sooner or later, we will see)

It's in MoE 2, I think. I am putting these three games together (as intended by the builder).

MoE (and most of the others I am putting together) is obviously not a TREP level, so should I just leave the tomb4.exe as it is? Because I cannot open TREP... Christoph's website said something to download MS Visual Studio though...

The question is: Have you TOM-Files (or WAD/WAS-Files) or have you TR4-Files. When you have not TR4-Files than you can put this MoE2 into the Samplefolder from the LE. When you than convert the TOM-Files or WAD/WAS-Files (I do this with the LM), than this MoE2-File would be automatically included into the TR4-File.
___

For the normal TR4-Levels you need a normal Widescreen-Exe. I can sent this exe to you per mail

There are only tr4 files - is there still a way to not include the samplefolder in the download package?

But the readme clearly said:
Readme wrote:Installation:
Copy Script.dat english.dat and load.bmp into the TRLE man folder. Don#t forget to make a backup of the original files. Copy them into a backup folder or rename them in for example script.datorig english.datorig load.bmporig.
Covert the mp3 Files with the Tool in the wav. Format. Copy the wav files into the audio folder. No oringinal files will be deleated unless you have made changes to the folder before.
Move the tr4. Files in the "Data" Folder. Copy the sc_scm.wav to the Soundsamples Folder.
