Lara's mirror image

Post by mugs » 27 Jan 2011 04:28

I am using a great foggy horizon created by Mike Quahe and I have somehow created a mirror image of Lara as she runs toward the cliff edge. Can someone tell me how this occurs and how I might correct it. Thanks !

The room, or room number, you are standing in was set as the mirror room perhaps?

While doing experiments to see if I could find how the water was causing crashes, I disconnected my mirror room from the one next to it, and Lara would still show up on the wall if the textures were set as transparent.
What a wan*er.

if a mirror room exists in my level I unwittingly placed it there. I guess I'll have to study mirror room setups so I can try and figure out what I did.

This is only possible by using a Mirror- or MirrorEffect-command in the script.

hmmm. that's interesting. The only thing that worked for me was to recreate the room that the mirror effect was occurring in.

I'll do a bit of messing about and see if I can recreate your problem :)

Aza - I think you are still working in the current TRNG version - I had to revert to the previous version so you may not get the same results.

No worries Pat 8)

It's as Raymond said; No mirror without the mirror command in the script :)
