It was a ceiling mirror that I was using.

I'll try a wall mirror later and see if that causes a crash.
What a wan*er.

The mirror-water connection was analyzed by Paolone. So far there had been only reports, which confirmed this, except here with mugs.
@Aza
If you perform some tests on which type of mirror it depends, it would be nice. I know, that it was a old type west wall mirror using the Mirror-command in Paolone´s analysis. But others had the problem also with the MirrorEffect-command in script and if the mirror was removed the problem disappeared. So the connection is obvious.
By the way, always take a look in the trng-section of the tombraiderforums.com to find an updated list of bugs relative to an update(beginning with the current one):

The level does indeed crash when she submerges.

In my level Lara was only wading :roll:

It doesn't matter which connection you use; Ceiling or walls causes crashing.

Lara can paddle around on top of the water but as soon as the swim/dive animation kicks in the level is kaput.

In between each test I had to shut my laptop down.

If I didn't, the next time I tried to convert and play a level it generated hundreds of 'crash detected' messages.

Luckily I had already given up on the mirror idea :)
What a wan*er.
