Hey, daffy, this thread looks like a great resource, but feel free to open new threads that focus specifically on the challenge you're facing in the future :) That will also make it easier for people who are searching for the answers to the same questions to find them. Love your inquisitive spirit, keep up the good work :2thumbsup:

Well, I can not. :roll:
I add this line in the script "Parameters = PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 14, FMOV_HEAVY_ALL" (14 pushable ID) but I do not think it will solve my problem or at east, I do not know what to do more.
But maybe I explained my worries wrong. I'll take my explanation with a picture. (This is just to test)

Lara does well with moving the pushable triggers actions placed on 4 boxes trigger. Once placed on the white square surrounded by orange, I would like the pushable actuates the opening of the door and there I stuck, the heavy trigger does not work with this type of displacement.

Now I understand what your trying to do, because the final position of the crate is on the marked tile use this command line in the script "Parameters = PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 14, FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END"
The command "FMOV_HEAVY_ALL" would only work if the crate was pushed over the marked tile and onto the next tile :)

I begin feeling pain in the crane ! :?

I put these 4 lines in script:

Code: Select all

Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 1 ,FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END, 11, DIR_NORTH, 1024, 32
Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 2 ,FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END, 11, DIR_SOUTH, 1024, 32
Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 3 ,FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END, 11, DIR_EAST, 1024, 32
Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 4 ,FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END, 11, DIR_WEST, 1024, 32
The pushable moves well with flipeffect, it is ok!

But not means to launch (Heavy) though it is (door or other one) in the site of the pushable. I tested several method but result is always the same, everything takes place as though the pushable was not really on the tile of arrival.

Help ! :D

Seems to be a bug, if Lara can't get into the upper room use this instead " FMOV_TRIGGERS_ALL" and use a normal trigger instead of the heavy trigger

The purpose of my trial is just that it do not have Lara's action there. :)
I go tested with "FMOV_TRIGGERS_ALL", Thank you! :wink:

This command will work when moving a static item, "Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 1 ,FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END, 11, DIR_NORTH, 1024, 32,IGNORE, IGNORE" you would also need to change the flipeffect. :wink:

OK, I am a bit lost there! :-o

To move the pushable I use a flipeffect with these data

Code: Select all

FLIPEFFECT
Moveable. Move. Move moveable with data in <&>paramters list
TRIGGER
Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM,    1
Errors excepted a pushable block is well a moveable object, it is not a static object !

I found this in a tutoriel : http://www.skribblerz.com/tuts/ngle/ngl ... French.htm

For the moment I do not see how using "FMOV_TRIGGERS_ALL" to launch the opening of the door, I have to try still...

Yes! I succeeded ! :D

Here are the lines of script. The door opens well with a "Trigger" (not heavy) !

Code: Select all

Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 1 ,FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END+FMOV_TRIGGERS_ALL, 11, DIR_NORTH, 1024, 32, ignore, ignore
Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 2 ,FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END+FMOV_TRIGGERS_ALL, 11, DIR_SOUTH, 1024, 32, ignore, ignore
Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 3 ,FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END+FMOV_TRIGGERS_ALL, 11, DIR_EAST, 1024, 32, ignore, ignore
Parameters=PARAM_MOVE_ITEM, 4 ,FMOV_HEAVY_AT_END+FMOV_TRIGGERS_ALL, 11, DIR_WEST, 1024, 32, ignore, ignore
Thank you for your assistant Bedazzled ! :2thumbsup:

Remember that door will open if Lara crosses the trigger :D

Yes indeed, but in the case of my test Lara can not climb up ... so bad for her! :devilish:

That said, I have not solved all the problems, Lara can still move the pushable through walls, I have not yet figured out how to set boundaries .... stay tuned! :wink:

Hello,

For the readers of passage on this subject:
To stop the displacement of the pushable (before walls for example), it is necessary to encircle the zone with flipeffects.

Code: Select all

FLIPEFFECT
Moveable. Move. Stop motions of all moveables in <&>Room
TRIGGER
[001] Room1 (Room or the pushable is)
Bedazzled, you can throw your popcorn ! :D
