Quick flyby question

Post by 3spn4life » 21 Oct 2009 06:09

Is it possible to end the level on a flyby camera. LIke show a sequence and on the last camera end the level. I tried using heavy triggers.

I think so its quite possible, though I haven't tried it myself.

You can trigger a rolling ball once the camera triggers and then have a FINISH trigger and Heavy trigger on a block (a region of the slope), so that when the rolling ball rolls over the block the level ends.

Refer: http://www.trle-community.net/viewtopic ... 85#p314785 for more info on rolling ball trick.

The length of the slope has to be adjusted as per the length of the flyby.

I shall try this today in the evening and comment back.

There may be better alternatives so try this out and wait for more expert comments.

No need for a rollingball.
Simply place a heavy finishtrigger underneath the last camera of the sequence.
The camera should not have a timer value assigned to it because triggering something with a timed camera does not seem to work, and make sure you have the 14 button in the OCB of the camera clicked. Otherwise the heavytrigger won't get activated.
Nothing is in contradiction with nature,
only in contradiction with what we know of it.
