crawlspace roll animation

Post by mugs » 11 May 2008 00:36

I downloaded the crawlspace roll animation from TRSearch (By SSJ6Wolf) and can't get the files to open (even with bedazzled's help !). I also cannot find an email address for SSJ6Wolf in order to contact him/her. If you have used this animation recently, could you tell me where I can find a working file. Thanks !

i don't think you need an animation for crawlspace rolls, do you? it's included in the original wads.

Only in the revised wads, in the original ones she will stay in the crouch position, well the one where she is able to draw guns etc. but she kind of glides to her new position (fast) - very odde

But would Jesse's animation not be designed to be used without trep ? Mac builder and all.
Thou shall not mess with Lara's resting animation. NEVER. EVER!

yes, Jackie, now that I think about it - she was able to do a crawlspace roll. I'm using a revised coastal wad as a basis so I'll try it. thanks !

@ Snork - I was afraid I would hear the TREP word - it's becoming a problem with new objects being added to our resources. contributors may need to designate their objects as TREP only.

Read the description for instructions. No it does not use TREP. ;) If the instructions are confusing then it's like this: You cannot copy the animations over if Lara does not have the appropriate animation slots, so you have to add them yourself. Open Lara in the animation editor and keep adding animation slots until you reach the right amount (453 in this case) Once you've added the right amount, then you can copy all the animations over and it should work.

Hi Jesse. Thanks for that info. I had read the instructions and thought I had the necessary slots. Most have blown it some how. will do it again.

edit: hmm. well, I have plenty of animation slots, but the file is still not opening. would you let me know what steps I need to follow - I'm using the tutorial for adding animation by bedazzled. thanks.
