Timed trigger for an enemy

Post by QRS » 16 Jun 2006 12:05

Is there a way to trigger an enemy by waiting on a tile for like 5 seconds? I have tried putting a negative number in the timers field but the enemy (sas and baddy) appears the moment you step on the tile...I guess I can use a rolling ball etc but I hoped for a better way of doing it. Any hints?

I haven't got the PC game myself, but, check out Thor's hammer in TR1.
You had to stand under it for about 5 seconds before it triggered.

Use a TriggerTriggerer with a -5 (approx) setting in the timer. :)

Unless I'm very much mistaken, that was the first thing QRS has tried, according to his first post. :) It would seem that baddies generally can't be triggered with a timed delay. :(

Well I think you are mistaken..lol. I'm suggesting he use a TT and trigger it with a -5 in the timer, then put the enemy trigger under the TT!!
