No, you'll have to learn using sounds.txt and Wadmerger. For easier editing of sounds.txt, I think someone wrote a program for this. Magplus?

I've got a folder full of TR3 sounds. Anytime I see new ones I nick them and shove them in there too. If I ever hit that error message all I have to do is copy the sound into the samples folder and everything is fixed.

@Tombcool : indeed, I made a program called SFX_Manager in order to fix such sounds problems. You can find it on my web site

@GeorgeMaciver : adding those sounds will increase the size of your level for nothing, and it may cause some strange problems. Thus, some sounds may not play correctly in the game. And, WM adds many other sounds which are not needed. Each time I remove non used sounds from a wad, the size of the tr4 compiled level decreases almost 1Mb!!

Hi Magplus, yeah, I've never really been that bothered about an extra 4 or 5 Mb on a 70 Mb download. Maybe it's time I started! I've downloaded your programme and will start using it. Looks like a handy tool and thanks for making it :)

If you don't mind, I'll feature this tool of yours at Skribbz in the tools section later this weekend!

Hi Pascal!

Normally I should learn how to use your tool this week-end, so you shouldn't need to correct my sounds anymore.
