Has anyone ever considered making a wild west BtB? :cowboy: :indian2:
We have few games in this class, yet it's a fun theme.
That would be awesome I love to see Themes which are Kinda rare

Sorry for the bump, but I was just thinking about this and was wondering: if we can't find enough people to work on a new package for Btb, would anyone consider having a second round using a previous package? We've had some great stuff made over the years and I for one wouldn't mind seeing some of them make a comeback.

Not a bad idea at all JesseG :2thumbsup:
I think one can always start a competition as you can see with that CAC project.

As for the BtB, all I know is that a small group of people are busy with whatever they have to do.
Have no idea about what the theme will be or what date they have in their heads.
Oops, I did it again... Image

Surely wild west theme wouldn't be bad at all as there are only 4 levels classified as wild west in the whole level listing database so more of it would be welcome I guess... On the other hand, I can offer my little contribution with objects and textures to whatever theme is being created if needed, let me know...

Yes please Wild West BtB
Yes please Wild West BtB
Yes please Wild West BtB
:D

Can you imagine it?
The native americans artefacts, the teepee villages, the buffalos in grasslands (a buffalo could act as the TR4 bull). And then the saloon, the gallows pole, the gold mines, the train, the amish people in the farms...

IMAO a wild west set would force builders to create open-space levels (apart for the gold mines).
I'm not a builder but I've read somewhere that open-space levels are more difficult to build.
This means that we'd have less levels but from more skilled builders. 8)

I'd like to see a medieval package but not quite like Complex Simplicity because the imagery of CS is very much fairy-tale oriented. I'd like to see a medieval wad that takes after RPG imagery like LOTR, D&D, Dragon Age and such.
anyway the wind blows...

Just to remind my offer, that it is not likely that it will last forever and also it is not likely I will be begging on knees to offer a help lol  I came to offer a help for this dying community and it seems like i am offering it to a wall, which also wouldn't respond...

Sorry for the Bump again,

I think BTB would be great to see happen again sometime. However level building has been on a decline for a long time so it was also going end up like this only 8 levels got released last time we did this OFC new players and builders have come from the Twitch/YouTube community so maybe we will get more people who are interested in this

Forget the contest approach---it doesn't work anymore. Just make your own levels the way you want when you want to.

It is not a dying community. It's merely on cruising speed. :)

If you mean there isn't that much movement on the forums, that's very common these days - everybody's addicted to FB, Instagram, Tweeter and whatnot, where they can just say (or republish) whatever they please, anytime they please, even if it's the most banal thing on earth or the hugest lie ever. But one thing does not replace the other. I'm on FB too and I use it my way (so do a few other people). So?

I'm all for BtB but it's really not up to me to make it work.

I may be in a minority here, but I don’t use any social media and have no desire to do so.
