Celebrate December

Post by Jorge22 » 01 Dec 2017 00:21

And the year comes to a close.

Now for what really matters......... where's the Advent Calendar and all those great levels we look forward to?

As usual we already have snow and low temperatures. But the winter temperatures are higher compared with the years before. Obviously climate change causes this Change. Means less work for me(not forced to remove the snow from the walkway and house entrance) but climate change isn`t good for the Environment.

Merry Christmas, Playmates!

We have high winds here, sleet and possible snow on Friday! :D Time to build a snowman :D

I'm keeping the two cats in. Well one is an albino (in my profile image), so he'll just disappear lol  My other one is a ginger so he'll be kept in regardless as he is recovering from cat 'flu.

I can't wait for Christmas. I'd hate to live in Australia whereby they spend Christmas in a heat wave!

Lo xx

Well, I'm back at my old job, and while there are some things I'm excellent at, there are other things where I need to be faster and more efficient. I'm focusing on really being excellent so that I can have the self-confidence to focus on something else.

I'm building a routine between work life and dealing with family. I resumed karate classes, and I'm happy to see how much spirit I have in sparring! I also signed up for the county gym (no worries about dreadful contracts if I have to move again) to work on upper-body strength to open more doors in terms of job opportunities (I workout at home, but there are some exercises that really call for a gym).

I did have the chance to check out a new park in the neighborhood, it was nice seeing so many cute squirrels run around. :) I'll resume hiking mountains soon, then hunting and fishing once I hit the 6 month mark.

Now that I'm with my Xbox One and have an income again, I did download the DLCs for Rise of the Tomb Raider as part of the Season Pass. I'll see which one I'll start with... :D

Due to the closure of ISDN in Germany I had been forced to switch to voice over IP and a faster broadband conenntion. Today the new and faster broadband connenction had been activated by the telephone company and also voice over IP became activated. Now connecting with 50.000, indeed a high speed Connection. Both for 26,99 Euro for 1 month and the contract lasts two years. Of course the contract includes internet and telephone flatrates.

After working through the holiday season at a busy computer store, I am so glad to have Christmas day off. It's worth it.

I finished playing Baba Yaga, it was enjoyable. Now I'll see what other DLC to play from Rise of the Tomb Raider.

I keep making progress in martial arts and my strength training. I'm starting to see some results in some areas. :)

And with the success I have at work, I now know what I need from a job, and I can no longer ignore that. However, I have to be far more prepared than before...I now know that having authority in a job, while being able to soothe nerves with a voice of an entertainer is great for me. And then I use my wits and carry computers around all day. And then I have a lot of drive so long as I have a good night's rest, good nutrition and workout before work.

Hello everyone!

After a couple of years of not playing, I got myself a PS4 for Xmas. Now playing "Rise..." of course. Great to see Lara is alive and well after 20 years. :2thumbsup:

Happy new year to you.
