July

Post by Hitsumei » 01 Jul 2017 19:03

Hey everyone!

I'm enjoying my new job in Georgia, I'm getting to have some amazing adventures (notably the time I collected lake samples in the rain, and was heading back to the office under a tornado warning), and really soak in Georgia's landscape and culture. :)

I also started Kyukido martial arts today, it's revealing new dimensions as to where I need improvement, and how I can grow.

This afternoon, I'll go swimming! :2thumbsup:

Hey Hits, glad to see you're enjoying your new job. :2thumbsup: Hope the tornado doesn't turn out too severe for you. We've got a bit of sunshine here at the minute (at least in my area of the UK), with slight winds but I hope it stays like this for a while. I'm starting my new internship placement in September, which I'm really excited about. :D

@Ryan

Well, thankfully, the tornado didn't happen where I was two weeks ago.

Today is a nice hot and humid day for me, which is perfect for swimming. I'm glad the weather is nice in your part of the UK! :)

Congratulations on your internship! :2thumbsup:

July then... Then July...

The weather's pretty nice. We've had some really hot days and some colder ones and it's like, say, high springtime today. A bit unstable, I guess, but reaching for the summer. And that was the weather forecast.

Other than that, my wife's been kind of frozen at home by a broken metatarsus lately (but she will be seeing the doctor next monday), I have yet to finish teaching my night classes but I'm almost there, I have 64 exams to correct and loads of paperwork to do with the night classes too. But I've been taking care of it all, I just get these slight headaches and these unexaplainable tensions...................... But it's cool and a ben-u-ron will solve it when needed.

And things......... Pretty hectic really. :)

Why don't you upload some of your students' essays for us to review as we would a custom level. Should be loads of fun, if not so much for the students.

And congrats to you, Sylwia. Now get back to your honeymooning!

Congratulations Sylwia, best wishes to you and your soulmate!

Btw I just started writing articles for a scientific sociology-based magazine (I hope it makes sense in English). First subject being "Ethical aspects of corporate social responsibility". If it gets translated on English, I would like to hear your opinions. :)
