May

No, not Theresa. No, not Brian. Just the merry month. :D

Other than that, the site has been down several times lately. Any specific issues?

One of the most beautiful months of the year. undoubtedly. :)

Yeah, I'm having trouble at loading the main page (not the forums) at random times. It takes ages to load the full content.

Perhaps the UK sent its rainclouds across the pond, a flash flood just finished here! At least my car got all the pollen washed off of it. :D

@JesseG

Friday was the perfect day to do hydrology, driving through the heavy rain was interesting.

I landed a permanent environmental technician job in Georgia, I can finally start my life!!! It starts on June 16th. :wideeyed:

Thank you Pat, Ryan and Ian!

The job in Georgia will be in a small town called Cartersville, which isn't too far from Atlanta. I'll definitely take some pictures, as I'll be in a mountainous area in a humid region. ^^ There'll be plenty of opportunities for fishing, hunting, boating, hiking...I'm excited!

@Hits,
my son Mark spent a couple of days in a small town near Atlanta last year,so I was wondering if it was the same;but he went to Covington,which is the other side of Atlanta to Cartersville (according to Google maps). Looks a nice place,though.

Our main telecommunication provider, German Telekom has decided to do changes to our telecommunication system. They turn off the old analog telephone system. Now I am forced to change my contract and also new hardware is needed to use the phone in the future. This is driving me nuts because the old system had been reliable for many years and they change it without any Need. They told me there will be no Trouble caused by the changes but I don`t believe it. Changes always lead to trouble, especially when it affects computers, phones and the technology of it.
