Hello Treeble. It's Lo here from Eidos :D It's hard to get the right thread since this forum is a bit too specific in the search facility. If I can work out how to upload a savegame (the procedure is no longer straightforward unless I'm blind), I will let you loose - cheers!
I remember you, and I'm glad you remember me too. :)

Will keep an eye out for your topic on the Stuck in a Custom Level section.
Thanks for remembering me too! :D

I have posted in the stuck boards. Thanks if you can help

Hi again,

I posted my savegame and a member kindly completed that jump for me. Thanks for showing an interest. I'm going to be sad to have this game end in the China levels over what appears to be a squabble that led to one builder retracting her participant levels :( But the good thing is that there are so many to peruse over the years. I always hit the main menu and F5 it so that the featured game changes.

I trust you are well and it is nice to hear from you again :)

Yup, Mulf was quicker on the trigger regarding the savegame. :D That's one the greatest things about the TRLE community: we might not be as many as in the past, but we stick together. :)

'Twas by mere chance though that I spotted the thread so early, and then it helped that I needed only 5 attempts or so to make it, because there's a similar jump in one of my (many unfinished and unreleased) levels, which I then had to test of course. Quite a number of times. :)
(Maybe I should do it differently when and if I have another go at that level, seeing how that kind of jump gets experienced players in a bit of a pickle. Even if they seem to like it.)

We sure do. I have been a member for several years but have the habit now of searching randomly for levels via the F5 (refresh), facility on the TR:LE homepage. Thereafter I e-mail the written walkthrough to myself or in cases of better-rated levels, I will seek out a video version. But even that can prove to be unhelpful - as was proven in this tricky jump. I will show you the video so you can see how the uploader herself struggled and had to edit. You just need to get to 4.34 into it or just before to see the jump sequence whereby Lara lands on the flat, corner tile. :D

This is the site: http://treditor.hu/english/index.html

Look for levels through the 'Level listing/search' link on the left. :)

Thanks so much, Mulf. :2thumbsup:

To be honest I really prefer the sense of adventure and discovery. I was unable to complete one of Mugs' levels because of a banana jump. I am a seasoned Raider but just dislike levels that require far too much trickery and the suspense of reality.

When I first played TR II I was really disappointed by Floating Islands. It was whacked out and didn't even adhere to any principle. OK so the OST was haunting but it was detached from the rest of the story IMHO. :)
