Not sure, if I will participate as builder this year but I'm sure I will enjoy the levels once they are released. :)

You're scared because people will expect indoor areas with Persian theme? :-P :D

Jokes aside, whole community hopes you will participate :)

My problem usually isn't a lack of ideas - in fact, I tend to have far too many of them. My problem is that I can't complete building in time. :( :hammer:

What I had done the last years to avoid that, was the following: I wrote all my ideas as List, for example I want build a palace, want to build flying Islands, use a Color Puzzle, implement Cutscene xyz and and and. To every point I gave a Weight from 1 to 10. Where ten is the most important one. Then I began with the building and start first of all with the ten Points. After I finish I went to the nine Points and so on. The last Btbs where I finish a Level I receive everytime to five or four. Of course, this was never the completed List of ideas in the finished level, but this is for finishing in time a already a good Level. So I can avoid to dissipate my time and energy with no so important points.

^ Interesting.. But I'd need to see the package first so I can know what I can do or not.

Since I've always used the updates TRNG I think it will be achallenge on making a decent level using the ol' limited TRLE :P (With the earliest trng version)

You can already note down ideas which fit the topic and then realize as many as possible.

I already have a project with some 30 minutes of gameplay, using universal objects and building rooms with much of empty space that can be adjusted according to theme and WAD.You don't have to start from scratch when the package comes :)

Hi
Just wanted to ask if you have to send your postal address to register.

I trust that it will be kept secure but I don't really feel comfortable sending it out

This is for sending the prizes.
Possibly it's an option to provide it after you win but I don't know.
You need to ask Michael.

I was thinking of that too, and I have a question about it: last BtB there was a little room in the starting project that provided correct water and lava animation. If I start building some rough rooms now, how can I include aldready exsisting rooms like that one? It's enoug to replicate that room in my project? Ore are we allowed to use a project merger? Thanx!

I already did the same thing in BtB14.Although I don't remember the exact details, I do remember that it was very easy to adjust all necessary things. In worst case you will have to create that room manually, but it's really simple thing.
Bottomline, based on my experience, you can feel free to start building already, it won't be hard to merge project without any extra tools.

The scrolling room isn't needed. We once thought it is, but it appeared a myth.
However we're still using the room because it skips confusing manual setup.
But this confusing manual setup will be explained in details on the hidden forum.
I would say build now and save few weeks, then spend few hours on manual setup.

What you should really care about is convert the map to v50 before anything is textured.

On the subject of giving our addresses.

This is something i would worry about where michael stores the information. As an IT student i worry about some hacker finding it. So i wanted to ask if they are encrypted/ password protected so and hidden really well?
