Actually think this theme could suit your natural style of building - Big palaces and halls should be right up your alley.

Hm, I see 4 great builders on the latest additions in a row besides few more great builders participated earlier...that`s calling for a challenge for me, what I like 8)

Looks like the the BtB team's gonna be pretty busy over the next few months with 37(!) builders already registered. The best of luck to all of you! :2thumbsup:

And quite a few of the best builders in the business are among the 37.

Only 37 builders so far? That's kind of disappointing. Earlier BtBs have usually had around 70+ builders registered, IIRC. (Obviously, all of them do not actually finish their level on time ... or ever, in some cases.) Maybe there will be a few more last minute registrations? Or maybe only the sincere builders are registering this year (plus me).
QRS wrote:Mytly: Hehe yeah. Some kind of record I guess ;) It just shows I'm extremely bad at making a level in a certain theme....I once started a jungle level and it ended up as a train level. Believe me that happened during E&B ;)

Will do my best though. And maybe now it is the time to produce something! ;) A tomb or a cave maybe.
Lol, how does a jungle level turn into a train level?! And that too, a snowy train level, if you mean the 'Runaway Train' level in E&B? I can't even imagine the thought process.

Good luck then, Mytly! You look like you're up against some tough competition, but I'm sure you'll do fine. :2thumbsup:
Yikes, no, I have no hopes of winning. My highest ambition is to actually just finish the level on time for once. :|

Yes that's the one ;) Well, you don't want to know lol! As I mentioned earlier, my building process is total chaos and after a while I just go with it and take the level I get lol  The fun part is I have no idea what do expect myself, so I often get surprised! The bad part is quite obvious though

Not really, when you see the ones who have registered. Evidently the idly curious, who register with no intention of building and releasing a level, have taken Scott's admonition to heart and have elected not to participate.

Which is just great, in my opinion, because getting like 100 entries and only a dozen actually built levels by the end says precisely that.

Haha, I'm dreaming of the same thing. I don't have time to replay the PoP games right now, but I've been going through screenshots and video walkthroughs, looking for inspiration, and every few seconds I keep coming across a puzzle or trap or platforming sequence that I want to recreate in my BtB level. :D (Not that I'll actually be able to do so. But it's nice to dream big. )

I'm not sure if I'll dispose of enough time this months, but finally I decided to take a try, even to create a small level.
