Hello March

Post by Hitsumei » 10 Mar 2016 22:51

With spring break on the horizon for me, I thought putting a March thread was a good idea...

I am going through a challenging class, but I am learning how to make computations and fix programming errors in hydrologic modeling. It'll give me patience for the level editor, which I haven't had time to work on.

And then, I experienced more challenges in the job search, but finally, finally, some progress in the job search, so I can finally serve the public and gain experience in hydrology.

The weather is warmer than usual, but it is nice to see chipmunks coming out of hibernation, squirrels chasing each other, and birds singing.

Hey Ryan :hello: .

Fortunately, I have a retail job that pays for things like car repairs, but it's not enough for things like rent or health insurance. And then, I want to be able to put to use my studies somehow. So I'm doing what I can to reach the next rung of the ladder.

Spring has reached Connecticut too, earlier than what I am used to, I guess the groundhog was right. It has been quite nice outside...except for the return of the bugs! :whip:

Spring seems to start slowly here but we still can have snowfall. Sometimes we had snow on easter but at the moment we don`t have snow or temperatures below zero. First small flowers have started to come out of the frozen ground and birds have started to sing early in the morning.

Walked my dog around our village this afternoon, and Spring has quite definitely sprung. Cloudless blue sky.No longer any chill in the air. Daffodils everywhere.
My favourite season has begun :)

I walk Fiodor at night, otherwise we meet too many people who change the pavement.

rjb, great to see you here!

today is another one of those running around town days - lots of errands from one end of town to another with a ST. Pat's dinner tonight...not sure why it's not on the 17th :)....no, we are not of Irish descent but "everyone is Irish on St. Pat's" or so I have been told...
