Then, the best thing to do it's: same time for package and same time for building :)
Even if also the package takes many time, also others take many time to decide the type of genre... :(

@OverRaider,
I didn't "sacrifice" that level, it was just not holding together at all, so I made the suite and the advent project instead... which don't hold together either. Heck, maybe if I inverted the order, it would all end up better...
...or even worse. Btw the aforementioned Calm Before The Storm sits on my drive since 18 Oct 2015, and I still haven't played it. There is always something... Why not tonight?

@LoreRaider,
Possibly the times for building the pack and the level will be more equal ("more equal"? lol) than last year, if the building goes as smoothly as I predict. But I cannot quite agree choosing the topic takes too much time. Last year we expected Greece from the very beginning so we could already think ideas before the theme became official. Some stuff would work no matter of chosen theme. And this year the placeholder wad, if we make it, might be also finished before we know what to fill it with. Deadlines are specific but certain things are known long before them.

(oh, yep.) I still need to finish Remnants of a Nemesis first, I'm playing it right now. The surface part is crude and ruined but still you have these metal gates the modern people wanted to block the entrances with. This is the very essence of an archeological dig, the Author must have seen some real ones.

Congratulations to all the winners! :fireworks3: My favourite of the pack got to the top 3. :)
I'm happy I managed to build a level this year, but I barely made it. I have to change the plot and geometry to make it. The gameplay and caves were done in last two weeks of building period and a lot of city parts were deleted. And the result was not so bad.

There's so much more to dig out from this level. You should really release an untrimmed version when time comes, or revamp it for inclusion in some future project.

Congratulations to the winners!
Had to fall out of the competition (and LE as a whole) because of my family :baby:
I'll probably come back a year later, thanks to everyone who makes the BtB competition possible :)

But you are in the competition. One of the audio tracks is made of chords dedicated to your nickname :)
