Are we supposed to learn things after 40?
I can only speak from my 37 years of experience, but after passing the 35 mark, I am finding I'm not learning lessons so much as reviewing the past. People I haven't thought about in years--people whose names I no longer remember...people who are probably dead even...suddenly I remember something and realize, "Hey! They were jerking me around!"
It is ridiculous. I remember little spiffs I had when I was seven years old, and it shouldn't matter...but I still find myself getting ticked off about them.
Ah, well. Nice cake, though.
