Wow, 46?!? I wonder how many will actually submit levels in time? There's no way there could be that many finished levels... right? :|

I think we usually have about 60-70 registered builders and only roughly 20 of them actually manage to submit their level on time ;)

In other words, most of them....disappear. But hey, 20 isn't a bad number, so who's complaining?

I've sent my e-mail to register :) I felt kind of burnt out on the level editor after last year's competition but I'm still happy I managed to finish my level so I'm hoping I'll have the time to devote to the competition this year too.

Any idea when the package will be done? Since I kinda have some free time at the moment, and am excited to start since I have given the LE a break for a while. :2thumbsup:

As explained in the opening post:
The registration process will run from now until September 30th, 2012.
The building phase will be approx. 4 months until Jan/Feb 2013. That depends on the amount of people signing up for this and how things are going during the building phase.
I'd assume that means the package will be released at the end of the registration period so that all builders can start at the same time.

Do we dare hope that you'll be one of those, Scott?

Sorry but no Phil, my commitment this year was to help build the objects package - so my work is done.
I guess you could say there'll most likely be something from me in every level......

I give it a try. :-P
I hope I can make it this time. Due to the work on the advent calendar, I can start building not before january.

I was a bit surprised, when the opening post mentioned sending a prize to the winner. I'd be grateful and proud if I just manage to finish on time.

The last five years I've worked on my own level and have a total gameplay of 12 minutes. :hammer: I spend oceans of time on making objects and my own textures. So I join this competition to see, if I'm able to cook up a decent gameplay within set limitations.
