Of all the participants only about a third will actually finish in time, at least that's how it has been in the last years.
Could be another very succesfull year, just like Btb2010. Very promising builders so far :)

Indeed, it is usually just around 30% of the builders who joined originally that actually manage to finish their level for BtB. Last year we had around 60 people registered, but only 23 levels were released.

Hence the fact that quite a bunch of people have registered for BtB various times already without ever having contributed a level in the end (*cough QRS cough*) ;)
But, I'm very happy to see the big interest in this and the builders list looks very appetising so far :D :D

I hope to supply a little teaser soon, but the fact that I caught a little cold over the weekend (stupidstupidstupid) isn't exactly helping the situation :bigcry:

Nadine, when you are sick, you are sick :D
Nobody can change that, just take it easy, spoil yourself rotten and put your feet up. :daisy:

Sent an email :)

I'm very nervous though, I'm so inconfident with my skills and patience. I think I'll get some valuable experience from this and now I don't have to worry about the wad, textures or music. I'll just build! Gah..

Aww Ian, I got all excited to see you post in this thread as I thought you'd join the competition and now I see you didn't actually sign up... but I know you really want to join another great BtB, don't you? *puppy dog eyes*

Anders, I'm just trying to support you with some extra motivation so you don't drop out yet again. Though 'motivation' is actually the threat of public disgrace and shame in case you should fail to contribute a level.

That's the most powerful motivation of all. C'mon, Ian, it's been too long since your last one.

I sent the email!

I lost my last level set when my laptop broke. I had backed up the files on a portable drive, but it was stolen!
I had spent so much time on the levels, and on custom objects! :bigcry:

So I am looking forward to this; it will be my return to level building. *Excited!*
