Levelbase Advent Calendar 2010

Post by MichaelP » 03 Sep 2010 19:49

:xmastree: :pressies: :snowman: Here it is - your opportunity to contribute to one of the longest traditions in trle community history.... the Levelbase Advent Calendar!!! :xmassheep:

The preparations seem to be getting into gear a bit slowly this year, so the Advent Calendar team is looking for YOU!

You could contribute with:

- peaceful, enemy-free custom levels
- textures, objects
- recipes
- stories, poetry
- games and animations...

...all the things that make the Calendar so interesting and exciting each year!

Everybody is welcome to contribute! All you need to do is register at the Laras Levelbase Forum ( here ) and send a PM to Doro with your ideas. :santa2:

(or - if the German environment at the Levelbase somehow scares you - just PM me here at the forum and I will be happy to pass on the message :D )

Did you already started build levels for Christmas? I'm sorry for that question, but December is almost near, and about X-mas levels is somehow quietly. But maybe is to early for that.
I'm not asking what about levels will be, and how they like, but how work is going?
Is there any custom ready? Maybe some corrections in them?

Have they found enough people for everything yet? I've just read this topic and am curious. :)

(Plus I can contribute if needs be.)

The subject was established in September, so it was a lot of time to enjoy. So I think they found already.
There is not enough time. How can they make it? Think a little bit logical.

Also there is much more you can contribute for the Adevnet Calendar like:
- textures, objects
- recipes
- stories, poetry
- games and animations...
And if you would like to have a go at the Xmas levels yourself, why not make one for next year????? (at least you have plenty of time to finish it) :D
Oops, I did it again... Image

I have guessed it myself. I only have asked how work is going, not if will be any level.

Not sure if you saw the note from Michael, he's on a business trip and that may explain why there is no official link yet, but there are links to the Levelbase's calendar all over our site!

Hello, all!

I don't post much but I do come in to read the stuck threads and I always check for new levels.

On this topic of the advent releases, I always get very excited at this time of year when the Christmas levels are released!! :2thumbsup: I have played and reviewed one so far and have to say that generally speaking, these levels are usually always built by experienced Raiders and are always enjoyable for me at least.

Many of the past advent levels have been achievable and I like the environments and the peacefulness they bring.

I can't wait to log in to the search page each day to see what new delights await us! Happy building and happy Raiding!

Lo :)

Hey Lo!

Nice to see you're still around and raiding honey :)

Like you,I don't get on here that much anymore, but I also enjoy the xmas levels, and one in particular I can recommend, from two years ago, is Lara's Magical Xmas Adventure by Masha, from the 2008 LB calendar..I enjoyed this very much, and actually replayed it just before this year's calendar was released..to set the mood!

Here's the link if your festive raiding appetite's been whetted.. :D
