vimmers you're a star :2thumbsup:
Vista was hiding the device indeed.
Still work to do with some re-installation, but hopefully I can send some stuff to Horus in summer. :)

Steampunk sounds very intruiging. I'd love to see levels with old machinery and weird settings!

I'd love to be able to build a level for the BtB. It would be fun! I voted for Steampunk. :bobby:

Given this theme it would be nice (due to my idea's for a level) to have the possibility of using distance fog...??

Or am I crossing a line here? :|

Distance fog usually requires a horizon in that specific distance fog colour you'd like to use. As the horizon will be defined by the wad that will be given to the builders, either all builders would have to use the same distance fog (boring as hell) or no proper distance fog.
I know that the TRNG offers a lot more possibilities concerning horizons (having multiple horizons in a wad and choosing one of them at a time) but as TRNG won't be used for BtB2011 that is irrelevant.
But I have been thinking about that issue a lot already, mostly because I hate limiting the builders options by giving them just one horizon to work with :blank: In BtB Asia and BtB Venice I chose a simple black skyline that could be modified by a big degree by script settings... if I can't think of anything better I might just stick to that solution or see what I can come up with using TREP.

Just out of curiosity - is there any particular reason why TRNG is not used? :? I'm not complaining or implying it should be used, but - as said - it does offer a fair amount of extra opportunities, so there has to be a reason why TREP is preferred.

To answer Dutchy's query - actually, you can use distance fog, but I suppose it depends to what extent you want to utilize it? I'm not sure it would look any good with big outdoor areas, though you could in theory disable the horizon and use black or near-black distance fog. If you just want it for effect - here's a screenshot of how it looked with the Black Lodge.

Thats a big disappointment straight away. :(
A well turned bottom is a beautiful thing to behold.
A well spanked bottom is a beautiful thing to be holding.
