About time for a new small talk thread, too.

After the latest review I started the killer game Meganebashi and I found another easier path down instead of doing the timed jumps. (Sorry, not for the drop.)

Slide down the slope at the block you fell down so difficultly, then shimmy far right and drop. You should land with about 5 percent health.

hmm - can you be more specific as to where you would add the comment in the walkthrough? The "timed jumps" are listed as optional in the walkthrough, so not sure whether you describe something new here really or whether the walkthrough may just not be clear enough... (?)

Sorry to be unclear. I didn't mean timed but curved jumps. :hammer: They are right after the start and the hard drop.

In view of the overwhelming popularity of NG's "Rome" I think I should mention that the walkthrough for it is incorrect. It currently implies that there is no finish trigger, but after dropping down into the pool again (by crawling backwards through the buggy door), you can actually go through another door in the NW corner of the central plaza, push another lever switch, and enjoy the "mission accomplished" tune. The finish trigger is in an adjoining corridor behind a door operated by that lever.

(Several reviews also claim that the level ends without a finish trigger in the room behind the pool.)

Am I correct when I can't find the walk for "Lara meets her girlfriend" in the "L index"?

Am I correct that our lazy Moderator updates the index only when the mood strikes him, which is every couple of months?

I am definitely correct that I've just tried to send the fixed version of the mentioned walkthru to the mentioned Moderator. I am not sure if it has been delivered properly, though. Our wireless network seems to suffer from microwave selectivity... I mean there is no problem with posting messages, but the mail refuses to work.

Just in case if it failed, I'm sending the WT as an attachment...

I just finished the game Eternal Mysteries by JMN and instead of the black screen that appeared at the monitor of the WT writer and some reviewers, I was able to read an end cutscene (basically a text that was scrolled down). Maybe these lines could be added to the walkthrough:

"And so Lara found the artifact she wanted for so long. She also discovered who the one was who planted the bomb. Larson!

In memory of Winston who died in the freezer."

Hadn't the writer simply FMVs turned off?

Just started Egyptian Mythology 1 by Jedi Master and some reviews state that there are six secrets to find in this level, but the walkthrough states there are five. I also noticed that the walkthrough was revised last year, so is there a revised version of the game that has a reduced amount of secrets, maybe?

Dutchy and I did the revised version because you can play them now in one go as before there were only seperate levels.

But if you find secret # 6 we can put it in the walkthrough as well.
The more accurate the better :D

I think Akcy wrote in his review that he found it. Maybe he can remember...

You can add this to the walkthru, at the end of the 4th paragraph.
"Crawl back out..."
and push a similar block in the east wall in front of you all the way in. There will be stairs to the left and right, both lead to an underwater secret are with pickups in the three small pits scattered around, revolver ammo, shotgun ammo and small medi. Go back out
"...and jump up to the floor above via the blocks and up the ladder."

Just a wish for the "The sacred emerald": Could you add a save from the beginning of each level or at least from the beginning of each part of the series, please?
