Busy doing a more detailed walk for Russian Base
(I have to come back on this decision, not good for my nerves, so if there are any other volunteers...)
NeverMind found a way to make it less stressfull, so I'll continue for now

I was reading the walk-through of my level Hostile Watera and I've found a small issue.
Although it was the case in the beta testing versions, in the final version the black smoke isn't activated after you get into the Ruby secret area, so as long as you sprint into it, you don't have to rush to pickup the dragon.
I think I have mentioned this in the beta testing thread, but maybe you forgot to change :)
If I find another issue I will let you know!
Take care
Another thing that's missing in the walkthrough is that collecting all 6 secret gives the player the grenade launcher!
I hope it will be updated with this information soon :)

Next for me is The Pyramid of Horus. Slowly but surely, we're getting there.

I'm glad you found a way of soothing your nerves, Dutchy. :)

After some hesitation, I've started on tombraiderxii's Sleeping with the Fishes and have arrived at the notorious timed run.

It seems that this level uses a true compass (always pointing north), as opposed to the classic TR compass, which points in whichever direction Lara happens to be facing.
Is there an established procedure for dealing with this? So far I've simply avoided giving compass directions, but it's easily foreseeable that this is not going to be a viable solution for the later parts of the level.

As for the compass, just mention it at the top of the walk and if you need to just give the direction the needle is pointing :beatnik:

he can't since it's pointing North no matter which way lara look
so i would say
north is = straight forward
east are = right
west are = left
south are = go back again
:D :D

It's fine, but I don't see if it says that you get the grenade launcher after getting all 6 secrets? :2thumbsup:

From the updated walkthrough:

If you want the last Secret, leave the room now, hop into the water and swim to the S end, up at the right hand cable pulley and use it 3 times. Go to the now floating crate nearby and jump to the pipe from that. Walk up to the W highest point of the rubble (stay to the left), jump and grab up into the opening in the ceiling to get Secret #6, the Silver Dragon. And look: the GRENADE GUN is now in your inventory.
