Yes, I am here but not very often in the walkthrough section. What's wrong with the Alcatrz walkthrough?
As far as my profile. I joined in 2010 not 2002. I don't know what you were looking at.
I was talking about my own profile ;)

There's nothing wrong with the Alcatraz walkthrough, I just have a little improvement suggestion.

It concerns this paragraph in your walkthrough:

Pick up the ammo in the next room and follow the nice hint on the wall to save your game before sliding down. Draw the revolver, slide down the ramp, shoot one target straight ahead on the S wall, turn a little to the left, shoot another target in the E wall and turn around to shoot the last target low on the W wall. Now comes the more tricky part: Turn Lara around so she faces the ramp, and jump up to grab the ladder. Unfortunately she doesn’t always grab the ladder. It took me several attempts until I could accomplish it. May be lining her up perfectly might help a little – I don’t know. Jump as often as you can – she will grab eventually.

The problem is not lining Lara up perfectly straight with the wall; the problem is that due to probably a limitation in the editor, Lara cannot grab that ladder AT ALL while the trapdoor she is standing on is horizontal. Only when the trapdoor drops, Lara will be able to grab that ladder.

So what the player must do is time it perfectly and jump to grab JUST BEFORE the trapdoor will drop down.

Even more levels are covered now; either they are ready or in work. There are only three levels left to write a walkthrough.

I guess I shouldn't bother to report walkthrough improvements anymore in the future... :p

Maybe your hints got buried under the BtB hype these days, but I will send Phil a changed walk for this. He can then give this to Michael.

I have one small suggestion for South Pacific Contest - Blood Mountain by Codo. This is what the walkthrough says:
Locate the rope hanging from a limb of the nearby tree and save your game again, as it can be difficult to grab the rope when you jump toward it. I found that it works best to stand at an angle facing NE and take your running jump from there.
Instead of trying to jump diagonally to the rope (which can be quite tricky), the simpler method is to just take a couple of walking steps backward, and then hop back for a running jump. This way you'll make it every time. :)

I have read the WT from manarch to the Level Lara Croft at Mirrors Edge Demo. It sounds like as Lara would have a new hobby named Parkour :D :2thumbsup:

This is exactly how that level feels like.

BTW, I'm writing on Eelkemama's level for 4 days already (trying to build and write and play gtss in the same time). But I'm not even in the end of 3rd level... It goes really bad - so far, I get stuck in most obvious things. But I'm gonna finish today.

What are you referring to? Is there anything wrong or strange about this walk?

I didn't get it, either, but then I'm an old guy who's out of touch with a lot of things. I did a Wikipedia search on "Parkour" and came up with this: Parkour (sometimes abbreviated PK) is a method of movement focused on moving around obstacles with speed and efficiency. Therefore, I assume the joke has something to do with the brevity of the level, the efficiency with which Lara makes her way through it, and/or the articulate way in which you have minced your words in your walkthrough.

If this was addressed to me: I made a little joke, because that walkthrough is so long
