Golden mask on hard drive?

Post by TR Trilogy » 17 Jul 2012 20:49

Gday raiders,Is it possible to copy the necessary folders on my golden mask disc directly to the hard drive so that it can operate without the disc? reason i ask is i notice it accesses the disc constantly which surely it doesnt need to for what is a mere expansion? :annoyed: Any answer would be appreciated, and if it is possible what exact folders need to be copied besides the data and audio ? :D

yes
use a tool like nero burning rom or imgburn or magiciso
to create a isofile
then you need to mount the iso with a
tool like magicdisc or daemontool

Thanks vimmers, well ive now got my iso file courtesy of magiciso and have been unsucessfully trying to mount the file with magicdisc! the process given on the insructions of this software are simple enough, press virtualcd/dvdrom then mount to k and manually type the file in! i keep getting a failure to mount window,is it possible that eidos has encrypted their game discs to stop people doing this? if so i neednt waste any more time, vimmers have you been successful yourself in making virtual copies of tr games using this or the other software you mentioned?
