Shadow of the Darkness

Tomb Raider: Shadow of the Darkness

An unfinished level from Create a Classic Competition has been kept working on and it has been extended into a multi-level game. It is inspired by Tomb Raider 3 London theme and features from TRNG are included to enhance the experience. Objects and textures are mainly from TR3 and TR3 Lost Artefact as well as some from TR4 and TR5. Many of the objects and few of the textures are adjusted and even few new objects and textures created by me to fit in my game. It is reasonable challenging in terms of gameplay complexity therefore it is rather recommended for more experienced players.

STORY

There are rumours that something bad is going on in one old factory somewhere in the city centre of London. It is forced guarded by SAS team not to let anyone in. What are they hiding? What is going on in that old building? Rumours have it that they are doing something illegal while others say that this bad source isn't coming from factory itself but from some secret passages underneath it. Well some even say that those buildings are haunted... Lara decides to investigate this mystery at middle of the night to reveal the truth.

GAME DETAILS

Levels

There are 2 long levels + 1 short level including boss + 1 short bonus level

1. Midnight Streets
2. Dark Buildings
3. Gloomy Echoes

4. Bonus level

Secrets

There are 10 secrets to be found in the whole game. To play bonus level all 10 secrets are required. In each secret location there is 1 blue crystal. There are 7 secrets in first level and 3 secrets in second level. In third level all 10 blue crystals are used to open a special room to find a map. This map reveals a secret location somewhere in the world which Lara will visit and explore. The bonus level will not be London themed but one of the other themes from TR3 (I will keep the theme secret to make it a surprise).

Additional Information

The gameplay is challenging and consists of puzzles to solve, tasks to accomplish, exploration, platforming, enemy encounters, timed runs, traps and much more. Some weapons can only be obtained in secret locations.

It shoud not take too long from now, coming next month...
