Well, not only the first five Core Design games, but I'd also say about 95% of all custom levels released over the past 20 years (maybe less so nowadays with NGLE and other more advanced editors) rely on the same basic rules, so it's more like "no way that would possibly work!" lol. Just like that shopping cart, if it were pushable in the four standard directions on flat surfaces only it would be something everyone expected because it's just built into our systems, but now being able to push it in any direction, up slopes and even 1-click steps, can make said systems go boom.psiko wrote: ↑21 Apr 2018 14:29I think the problem is that today players maybe are afraid to dare and are taken to only do what they are told to do so if you don't tell them there's a new feature, they won't discover it by exploring and searching for new solutions so it's very difficult from me still giving new things, according my vision of level editing, yet make those innovations feel not "dangerous" to experience/experiment, but I love challenges
