I've checked all combinations but I can't find the special weapon of AOD. Is there any?
Also, I tried the cheats but they don't work. I've reset the key mapping but they still don't.
What is the Roman number on the top of the screen? Is it related to the rank?
Speaking of that, what's the difference between rank and rating?
I took some notes:
- In certain cases, Lara can die when using vitality goddess.
- Flamethrower guy should get -25% HP, it's even hard to explode.
- If Lara is invincible, medikits don't have effect but still count as taken.
- Would be fairer if a kill counted when death anim begins not ends.
- The chest anim could be faster, it's too easy to lose the combo.
- In the manual, you should clarify the specials only work once.
- The pickup chests should match the theme of each setting.
I can address these, like I did for the others on TRF.
-Roman numbers are actually a wave indicator. There are 21 waves, starting at 0 (begin). Cheats are meant to be held down at once. Some may need to be pressed repeatedly to work. If anything, it may be a NGLE or a region specific keyboard issue, as I've tested the game with cheats active.
-Rank and rating are the same, except one is measured with numbers, the other a letter. F = 0, D = 1, C = 2, B = 3, A = 4, S = 5, SS = 6 (but there's a bug I'm fixing for the upcoming update).
-Anything in regards to invincibility and using a medipack during that state is actually a NGLE bug, not my own. No idea why, but using a medipack while invincible can cause issue. Fortunately, the idol only lasts 30 seconds.
-I've actually tried to reduce the duration of the death animation, or change it so it's faster. It really doesn't work as intended, so I had to stay. I genuinely tried!
-The flamethrower guys HP was set to where it was intentionally, as it's a boss enemy. It's intended to remain at 600 HP (as it is for all bosses), while the weakest of the baddies is at 60. Each of the outfits has a power weapon to take care of bosses without any major combo hit (Pump-Action Shotgun, Revolver, Grenade Gun, Assault Rifle, Grenade Launcher, Sniper Rifle, Rocket Launcher, MP5) - these make light work of bosses, as long as you can maintain a decent amount of distance. The only outfit with a major problem dealing with bosses is the classic outfit, but it's under powered in certain areas by design, but still balanced. I recommend weakening the bosses, then attacking other characters, and going back and forth until dead.
-The chest is admittedly slow, but I liked it slow due to the high risk. I suggest getting them at them all at the beginning of each match if you'd like, or using a power weapon to quickly kill an enemy. However, the game was designed to not need them at all, so anything inside is meant to enhance the game as a whole, or for added fun. As for their design, I really didn't consider making 8 chests since they're easily recognizable, but if everyone's bothered by the style, I don't mind changing them.
-Specials don't actually work just once (not all anyway), but that mistake may actually be an error on my behalf. Some actually have a cool down to prevent spamming them over and over again. Teleportation and Stopping Time have a 30 second cool down. Since I'm releasing an update, i'll be sure to update the manual as well!
-There's a special weapon for the AOD outfit, but I may have triggered the wrong flip effect. Another big I'll be fixing. It's a pair of Full Burst Pistols.
