Re: Fixed script files

I tried it again but I have still no luck at my end.

Found another one.
It is from EXT - SAS base.
It comes with the WAD files but they are all called SAS and of course the script/english files can't read that when converting.

I know that renaming the SAS tr4 file into City TR4 does the trick but for people that have no knowledge it is awkward.

I have downloaded the level in question and will supply a suitable script shortly. For some reason my computer is acting up and won't let me generate new scripts. :?

I'm just posting so you don't think I forgot about it. If you come across any others that require renaming and such feel free to post. :)

SAS Base has already been covered by now as part of the current effort to convert ALL levels to TR4 files...

Not that anyone will want to see Venice anymore after the end of the BTB competition :D - but I compiled a script for Pwhirl's Venice trilogy (Return to Venice | SAS Stakeout | Port of Venice) once I learnt they could be played in succession.

The script is here - the level's can be selected from script separately or played one after the other. If anyone's wondering about the EMPTY slots - the author set up the finish triggers in a weird way - so the game jumps from level 1 to 3 and from level 3 to 5 and I just went with it :rolleyes5: Rest assured - it will work fine if you want to play all 3 levels in a row :)

Justin Atlantis series.

There is something not right here and I can’t figure out what it is. Like there are some TR4 files missing??? Or the enable in script of level jumping is something different as it is saying in the menu.

First of all there is no level jumping. That wouldn’t be so bad as you can access the levels through the menu. Problem is that there is level jumping in Atlantis 2 and 3 to other levels and you cannot play them as you either get stuck and cannot proceed or get thrown back to the menu (level 3). That is how far I got.

Something is real strange here.

It's not really about a script, and it's not worth to open a topic for it.

I'm speaking about TR Apocalypse 1 - Midnight Madness by leveldesigner. Seems like the tomb4.exe has been messed up, since you can't save properly. But if you change the tr4.exe to the original patched one, it'll be okay. (but before that, you must put the files to a clear trle, otherwise it'll crash)

Is it possible to change the exe file to the old one in the zip file? Would be easier to play, i think. :)

Could someone fix the scriptfile in level Castle Cain - In the Dark? Thanks. :anxious:

EDIT: Nevermind, putting the original trle scriptfile fixes the level.

Yep, noticed it too when I downloaded it again after losing my external hard drive. The levels aren't displayed in the correct place in the script, and incorrect leveljumps bring you back to title.
Script problems as well to play linked levels in Taragonna series... :?

Good news is that I found my hard drive back shortly after with the old versions having working scripts I had edited (even inluding Atlantis 6 demo as a short epilogue... ), so to whom should I send them? :D

Thanks Thibault!!

I have now included the scripts provided by TC in the Atlantis package (now 1-6 vs previous 1-5) and also added the Tarragona full series scripts to all the individual download packages of the series in a separate folder, so people can choose to use these if they wish...

it seem that you should play Setback by Thierry Stoorne
in 1 go
but when i try to go from Another Castle to Dead City Avenue the game crash to desktop
and i have no crowbar to continue if i start a new Dead City Avenue
http://www.trle.net/walk/882.htm
Please note, some people have mentioned that the crowbar disappears in the inventory during the second level, why this happens I do not know

There is maybe a Script Error in the Rommels Treasure-Series http://www.trle.net/sc/search.php?atype ... sorttype=1 (maybe, maybe not) . I can not jump from Level 3 to Level 4 . Can one or two players try whether the level jump works or not? I post a Savegame. Thanks in advance :2thumbsup:

look at this
i download the wads from tr.hu
The Rommel's Treasure level 1 was Intrusion
The Rommel's Treasure level 2 was U-boat Sarcophagus
The Rommel's Treasure level 2 was Recycling Area
Here is the 4th level : X zone

You don't need any savegame to continue the adventure ,this level is loading
alone

so i would say that the levels are packed wrong
only 1 2 an 3 can you play in a row
i dunno about you can play 4 an 5 in a row
