There you can shimmy around the corner to a triangular rock, so I thought that's the way to go. I did not come up with the idea that you should only get something there.

Hi. I can't start the game as I get the following message: "failed to setup direct x".

I'm sure something like this must have happened before and I could look it up somewhere but if there's a simple fix and somebody doesn't mind kindly sharing it here and now, many thanks.

Fixed it! I just changed the resolution to 640xsomething and it worked. It's kind of weird but that's it.

On the other hand, the textures look kind of "rough" - a bit. Somewhat reminiscing of TR1 although the scenery's totally different. That's even weirder. Should I try and play with the resolution?

Bilinear filtering does it mostly. Ok.
