about the chinese zodiac signs."
LOL thanks Bigfoot. I thought you meant "MY" computer so I was looking for references to these symbols on Google :hammer:

I came across a weird bug at the end.
I have all three secrets.

After (I presume) the last line of dialogue with the dragon, The 'Save Page' pops up but I cannot cancel, use the arrow keys, or indeed actually save. [I have to kill the game via a task manager.] Music is still playing.

Note that The diary and new save/load page does not work for my setup --- AMD FX-6300 six Core 3.50 GHz CPU and Nvidia 1060 GPU
Win 7 Prof 64 bit. When used, both diary pages and the save/load page is just black screen.
So I renamed the PIX folder. The save page is therefore in the original style.

The NG DLL is reported as 1.3.0.7

Re-enabling the PIX folder and 'guessing' where I am, does make a save and continue with the next bit of the game.

Cheers, Mike.

If possible, try to play in window mode option :-P .
That normally solve the problem  .

I *am* playing in a window.
Does not work for me either full screen or windowed (1600x900) with any of the 3 'emergency' options at the bottom of the setup dialog.

Not just this TRLE other diary enabled TRLEs e.g. Pearl of Kojada (1.2.2.7) do the same.
Wreck of Blue Storm however does work (1.2.2.6).

All in windowed mode.

FIXED!

Hey Vimmers, The changes shown in your links did not make any difference.

What worked for me was to use the Nvidia control panel "3D Settings/Adjust image settings with preview"
Then I selected the radio button "Let the3D application decide" (I had been set to one of the other options).

I have not the time or skill to work out *which* Nvidia override was causing my problem (although VSync is always a good bet).

I leave this reply in case it can help someone else.

Cheers, Mike.

Absolutely stumped. I've lit one of those bowls, but it looks as though I need three. One is on the other side of the room with the monkey swing;but there's no way of getting the torch there.I can't see the third. Is there a block that needs raising?

Gah! I'd already used it once, but I thought it had helpfully lowered it to open up a passageway.
On my way again :)
