Yep, I've got the Christmas levels exe because Avast 'ate' my original exe and I couldn't use it even after adding it to the exceptions.
I'm using Avast too, with the same issue (the sotfware moves the exe file to the trunk of viruses).
But there is a simple way to avoid this in few seconds:
- Place the mouse over the Avast icon in the taskbar.
- Choose the option "Control of Avast shields".
- Finally choose "Disable until the computer is restarted".
Of course, that way you remain unprotected if you use an internet navigator.

Avira blocks it too, but then I can go to quarantine and choose to restore the files and add them to exceptions in the same time.

You gotta be kidding me.....there's fire in the same room as the Torch :? A pedestal up on the ledge behind the Torches should have a flame on top.

"Go to the next room and carefully trigger the Blade traps in the floor, or just jump over them. Into the right hand opening (S), pick up a Torch and ignite it."

Well, this is a place for a "ghost flame" I never saw before, it just sticks to her.... She's really HOT

Not that torch  The 2nd torch in underground city.

That is indeed the route Vimm, you get the Torch, can ignite it, emerge on top of the slopes so you can jump to the lever opening the door you have to go next with the torch

Don't blame me, you wrote the question... Without telling us which one. You can ignite it in the passage where you found it, other end up over the rolling ball...

I have the exe and thanks for the exe. :) But I'll tell you what happened.

As I clicked on the exe I got a notice from Avast telling me they were going to move it to their labs to examine and see whether it was malicious or not. They got back to me saying it was malicious and would never bother me again etc. They did quite fast too!

I restored the exe. I reinstalled the exe (more than once). I also added it to the exceptions, obviously. The problem is the exe is blocked.

Now, nothing like that ever happened before. It always went to the vault, I'd restore it and add it to the exclusions and that was that - standard procedure.

Not this time. The bloddy thing was blocked.

Was it partly my fault? I guess because when I got their notice I had the option of cancelling but, you know, it was the first time it ever happened and it took about ten seconds or so before it was all done. So, because I was caught by suprise I didn't even have time to think. Furthermore, I'd never have guessed they'd block the program.

Anyway, I re-sent them the file and a complaint about how abusive that behaviour was. Better than nothing even though I'm not sure they'll pay attention. Antivirus companies are usually too busy with statistics and showing off new features.

Well, I guess it could have been worse. You could have been using Norton! :D

Here is a save after getting the torch and I don't see any fire behind either of the boulders.

There is an active torch above the rollingball you’re facing at the start of the savegame.

To be fair, it’s a bit of a glitchy affair to go up there, and I had checked out all the other corners before I noticed. :)

Right, I arrived at an underground lake, picked up one (of four, this time!) ankhs that I need, and the only way to proceed is by solving a step-on-the-right-tiles puzzle. The clues are on the ceiling, but it’s so high that I find it impossible to gauge where I am in relation to where I should be going; not to mention that some of the tiles are sunken, so I can’t really get anywhere from those. I’m also not sure whether the specific sequence matters, as there is no indication that you’re on the right track (as there were in the similar, less extensive, puzzle in TR4 Tomb of Seth). It’s all rather frustrating. So: does somebody have a map?
This is where I'm stuck. I don't know what vimmers means by 2 or 3 times to shimmy to another tile.

NVM I just jumped the right way.

She found it :jump3:

Nasty puzzle that floor tile one...from my head and I used to be blonde too, so forgive me for mistakes
Entrance, sidestep right and walk forward. Hop straight over the pit, jump diagonally to one at the right hand wall, jump forward diagonally to the left, avoiding going over the pit and then just hops straight to the other side. Save in a new slot after every successful jump if the gate is still open
