Thanks, it would never have come to my mind to enter that building this way.

You gotta be kidding me.....there's fire in the same room as the Torch
A pedestal up on the ledge behind the Torches should have a flame on top.
"Go to the next room and carefully trigger the Blade traps in the floor, or just jump over them. Into the right hand opening (S), pick up a Torch and ignite it."
Well, this is a place for a "ghost flame" I never saw before, it just sticks to her.... She's really HOT

This is really unimportant but since I said I'd post it, here it is. The entrance on the North wall:

Let me do the same so you can spot the difference in our games...

Nope, I didn't. Maybe Vimmers can explain, he seems to be the expert on compasses

Re: Sabatu - Quest of Immortality - Underground City
Different .EXE files would be my guess as well: one has the standard TR4 compass, with the red bit pointing in whatever direction the player is facing; the other a has a true compass, where the needle is always pointing north. I don’t know whether TRNG actually supports this (as I think TREP does), but it’s a highly satisfactory explanation for me.
Either way you better get this sorted before you publish the walkthrough.
Perhaps we could all start comparing .EXEs. Mine is 1.808 KB (according to Win7 details view; Properties gives 1.76 MB (1,851,392 Bytes)) and dated 10 January 2018, 5:14 PM.

Yep, I've got the Christmas levels exe because Avast 'ate' my original exe and I couldn't use it even after adding it to the exceptions.

Re: Sabatu - Quest of Immortality - Underground City
Here’s the original .EXE, so you don’t have to download the entire thing again, and won’t ever be confused again:

(I’ve added tomb4.exe to exceptions and haven’t experienced any anti-virus problems since. But then, I’m using Avira; don’t know how Avast handles this.)
