I suggest that we all exercise restraint in tossing out bug accusations. The walkthroughs will be released in due course.

Who's accusing?

I encountered a bug and just wanted to solve it, so that I can finish the level. And I also pointed out that the bug is probably caused by my OS (Window 10). I also explained this in my (already submitted, but not yet published) review...

May I at least accuse my OS? :anxious:

Secrets:
SpoilerShow
Near where you got the Scapegoat Timewaster is the only Secret of this level.
As for secret items: Hanging heart… that is near the well
Plant of immortality… in a pool after you got the first Scimitar.
Oops, I did it again... Image

The point is: I accused my OS, not the builder, and surely not the testers. I would NEVER do that!

All I wanted was to solve my problem and continue with the game... It would be a shame if I had to abandon the level before finishing it.

The Levelbase says that after you have placed the 4 swords on the door to the building where the big boss is and before you enter it, you go back to the secret room in the area by the Scapegoat Timewaster and the door will be open if you have all 5 of the secret items.

I have done that and the door is CLOSED!!!

I still say there is a bug in this game.

If there is not, would you please answer both mine and NIna Croft's and others questions about how to open that door when there is no place to put the five items, and the readme file says you must have all five to enter that room.

It would be really lousy of the staff at trle.net if they make us all wait for the walkthrough as Phil says only to confirm that there really is a bug!

So? Why all this angst? Just move on to the next level.

Several of the walks are still being tested, and I don't have this one yet. If I did, I would be happy to try and alleviate all this pent-up frustration.

Well, TombTitan, I did not have any problem with that door. I had a problem with the pool at the beginning (the second valve for the second time).

When they helped me locate all five secrets, I collected them and that door kindly opened for me. I did not experience any bug with regard to that secret door...

Nina Croft, since the door likes you, would you please use your "open sesame" on the door and send a new savegame.
I have attached my savegame for you to open the door with. Thank you.

The four scimitars have already been placed in their holders at the temple with the dagger:

@ TombTitan, you have all 5 items as shown in one of the last posts on page 1? Then the door should open, as soon as you pick up the 5th in the room where you get the sword from the Tomb. You don't have to place the 4 swords first. never had problems there. Could you post a savegame so I can have a look?

The walkthrough for this level is now available. If anyone interested will send me a PM with an e-mail address (for a coded version), I'll be happy to provide an advance copy.

Well the levelbase are wrong. I don't know where they got the backtrack idea from.
That door should be open with 5 items when you visit the blue room for the first time.
