Alphonse - Zipangu - Ninja House

Post by Jorge22 » 31 Jan 2017 19:26

At the timed run to a door that opens by using a jump switch (after Lara walks the tight rope) is there any trick I should be aware of? I can't seem to make it not even close to getting through the door...

Since we're at it, before entering the level, if Lara chooses the right or the left path does it make any difference?

Thanks. :)

Don't mind that, nice timed run. What about my second question though?

And by the way, a couple of things also before I head on to the next level: how do I make the monkey free the flares and how do I get the golden rose at the entrance?

monkey? It is a child ninja. :D You cannot pick up the flares. And approach a golden rose from outside in a wall/fence.

Lol. Child ninja then. :D

From a wall/fence on the outside? I've made some way into the next level but I'll check that out anyway.

It starts a level and is the first white wall. (But the cutscene level is excluded.) 8)

When beginning the level, you can skip of a cutscene choose.
"カットシーン = cutscene"
"なし = skip or none"
"あり = Yes or show"

Whichever is chosen, it doesn't influence a game. :D

Well, it does. I would like to be able to understand those pictograms.
This would seriously improve the game experience for non-Japanese.
Some kind of translator like Richard Lawther applied would be great...

Can anyone explain what the idea is with the crowbar levers and signs...You get to another room when using the levers, that much is clear. But following the diagram on the ceiling it should be W/W/S/S/E/E/N/W? but that doesn't work for me...

I think it teleports you to the room behind the window.
So you CAN pull the switch twice from the same side.

Aha... this I don't know. In fact I didn't even notice the ceiling hint.

Lara's Movement condition
When Lara operated a switch, when there is a fence on the left side of the Lara, she move.
When a wall is on the left side of the Lara, she don't move.
The Lara moves according to this condition.

Use crowbar 11 times at minimum from the first room to the destination.

I must admit it makes logical sense... the point is I figured a part of it only after I did the puzzle, mostly by trial and error... the ceiling hint looks like some kind of Zipangese ornament, and is quite off focus...
