Could be you can't find it in the walkthrough because this level has had a major change, can't remember if all secrets were in the old part...

Dutchy, he said he's in the next level already. That one has secrets exactly where they were before.

Yep, right you are.

Only, I'm ***** with the beetles, having to push/pull those blocks in the room with the crates as I only have on small and one large medi and those pesky creatures do come after you. No matter what the walkie says (I read that part, use the ropes, stay close to the wall etc.) the beetles are all over you even if you cross to the other side using the ropes.

EDIT: Sorry, I meant mice.

So the walkie is wrong, look for a beetle solution before you push these blocks.

So it is then! Ok. A beetle/mice solution? Hmm... What could that be?

In case I don't find the said solution, does the all ammo & medipacks (I could do without tha ammo, I suppose) even work here? I've been trying out of despair but I don't seem to be able...

Push the first block inside, then look in direct proximity. Then take care of the pushable puzzle.
You can also bypass the beetle activator before falling into the pit.

I don't remember how the medikits work in this level, but this place is doable without taking any.
On the other hand I had to take a medikit when going through underwater spikes, I didn't find a deactivator.

The game in general forces medikits but also has moments when you don't need a medikit if you're smart.
The point is you never know which case you're going through...

The underwater spikes before this? So have I! One when I was on my way up, another when I was on my way down. Jeez...

In the meantime, I opened a thread for this but thanks. :)

Dutchy... How to jump to the shack? I can not go to her - the door to the shack prevents me.

You first have to open a trapdoor on a ladder mounted on a high pillar. You can only get on that shack from the ledges above. First go right from where you entered this area, into an alley

This level is really almost new, and should not be missed. Here is a savegame at the start of the second dig site, the one with the tall ladder and medipak beneath the spinning blades. There are uzis and several medipaks. This will allow you to experience the many objectives and action sequences in this area. Of course, as Vimmers stated, the game resets to start mode in the next level.

The uzis were obtained in two secrets in earlier levels, and the evil fishes are history.

OMG - thanks !!! I too was out of medipaks - on with the game !!!
