aet16 Greywolf - Vol. II Chapter 1: The Vault

Post by Circle Down » 31 Mar 2016 04:22

I'm up to the point where you can play the bonus level. I don't have the secrets for it, so I'd like to just continue with the level, but I have no idea what to do now. Hint, please?

I've just started this part and am in the second room with eight levers and three closed doors. I managed to get one door open (the one opposite the entry door) but the two side doors are still closed. I cannot for the life of me work out the rationale behind the symbols. What am I missing?

The key to the puzzle is something "missing" indeed, but if you opened one door that's enough. The progress is linear through this part, so you clear the only accessible chamber, then the other hub door opens, and so on.

What's the trick to getting on the rope in the mirror room? I can't seem to manage it at all and I'm usually pretty good at rope work (one of the few things I do have an aptitude for). :D

You need an additional raising block for that.

Thank goodness for that. I thought I wasn't quite that inept. I shall have a proper look round now. Cheers, m'dear,

I've reached the seven lever riddle and solved it, but I'm having trouble identifying the bas reliefs. Perhaps some kind soul could identify them for me.

From left to right, as far as I can tell:

1. Flying Horse
2. Not sure
3. Centaurs
4. Not sure
5. Not sure
6. Unicorn
7. Griffin

But the ones I think I've identified may of course be wrong. I took a few guesses, but nothing happened - or at least there was no camera hint.

@Jay,
I don't remember the monsters but they don't quite look like supposed anyway... Anyway this is the right order of switches, eddy from levelbase figured it out:7,1,3,2,4,6,5 @mugs,
if you're going the 7-lever way:in the pool area with a griffin fight and one pushable statue if you're going the Griffin way:in the sink room

well, none of that sounds promising. I have no idea what you're talking about. I have 4 adjoining rooms that I believe I have completed and which yielded the bronze and gold orbs. I have a large set of blue doors that are still closed. the only thing I can think of was I got into the hall with the 3 burners (bronze orb), but the last door was still closed - did I need to open it too?

Ah, yes - behind that door is where the path splits into two different challenges. It's good to play the part with the 7 levers in the first order, then reload at the burners to go the Griffin path. This way you finish with more secrets.
