That is the intended way yo get up to the ledge above the Skull door entrance when you reach that ledge a trapdoor opens over the ladder on the side of the entrance ledge. But there's a shortcut, you can just climb up along the right hand side of the trapdoor... Maybe that's going to change later because it renders the whole lava room useless.

From your right hand picture go to those grey blocks left:
find a spot left on the roof where you can stand. Run jump to the grey blocks (NE). Harpies appear, shoot them and pick up some Uzi clips. Jump to grab the right hand corner of the roof E, shimmy right around and pull up. Run over the roof and slide jump to the floor N, the trapdoor left drops opening a shortcut back up here in case you need it.

Going Up, Dance of Flames and Falls Object I.

Go straight through the opening and up the left ladder.
(To the E you can see a Secret Plaque, for later when we are one level up.)
Jump via the pillars N to the central tower, go left and jump the grey block to the pointy ledge W, left to the block and then stand jump to grab the ledge with the nasty moving blocks.

oh, true, i have accidentally found the shortcut, that's why the whole room seemed odd to me.

Thanks, I will try the intended route. :)

Anybody out there who can manage the first timerun secret with normal wireless keyboard? Not with pad! (Is steering left/right in full sprint possible with keypad?)
Steering Lara in full sprint doesn't work, never has, and with the necessary interrupts the run seems not possible by keyboard. Runjumps over corners + sprint combo doesn't work either. It's indeed a tough one. :D
I know it's a secret and there are savegames...I'm just interested in how many people can do it with a regular puter keyboard. Thanx + Greetings!

Indeed, this one took me many, many attempts and I ended up changing my control configuration, so that it IS indeed possible to steer in full sprint. Actually steering to the right always works for me, but for steering to the left I had to Change the left arrow to a different key...

Jesus, Michael...I never thought about changing the direction keys. I only tried different variations for the sprint/dash key. Took me 20 years of TRaider and your post to realize.
Thanks boss, for the idea!
In the end I did it with a wired keyboard. Puh. So it is possible without pad and 50 year old fingers. Greetings!

Hi Scottie

Can you please do this second banana jump for me. I'm not able to do this jump. Or if you have a savegame after this jump it will be fine.
Thanks
