Reached this place, too. One of the troopers looses a key.

Finished this great level. At some point I thought will this level ever end because it was really long. Even though my favourite one, so far :D

Just one thing... At the place with the pressure plate, is it really needed to do a banana jump and this "grab a second later to get to the ledge below" move to proceed? I sometimes felt like I'm glichting to move on... :anxious:

Yes. You're right. That tricky moves are needed.

I think I need a tutorial on this one. I'm trying to jump into the alcove above the flaming fu dog by running diagonally across the bounce pad and curving the jump at the end, but I just keep banging into the wall. No doubt I'm doing it all wrong.

Edit: Yes, I was doing it all wrong. Started from the correct spot and got there this time. :hammer:

How to get the bow under the skeleton? Whenever Lara pulls the skeleton off the tile, she somehow gets transported back to the tile and killed by spikes - though they're not even up! :?

Edit: Ok, I just let the bow go for now. I'm in this area now. I pulled a chain underwater, but I have no idea what it did (so few camera hints! :| ), and I can't find anything else to do. I have a Golden Buddha and the sword.

Mytly, don't let go of Action Key when pulling that skeleton. That way you won't end up back on the spike tile. This caught me out too.

I tried this, but nope - Lara still winds up being spiked. :bigcry:

How about a backflip immediately afterwards?

Tried that as well - does not work. Lara starts losing health while still pulling the skeleton, and the moment she stops, she transports to the spike tile and dies.

Is the bow vital for getting ahead in the level? If not, I'm quite willing to let it go.

Edit: Ok, I got it now. Apparently a blood sacrifice is necessary at the altar of the non-spikes, and my Lara had too little health to make it out alive. After using a medipack, she remains alive after pulling the skeleton.

However, I am still stuck in the area seen in the screenshot in my post above (after using the serpent gem). Any clues for that would be appreciated.

@ mytly:
Once you have used the chain in the pool, go out and up where the two bells are. Look to your left and next to the farthest stone lion, two poleropes have appeared.

Thanks Mugs. :)

However, now I can't load my savegames ... argh! :hammer: I'm going to play some other level now, and come back to this one if/when my savegames feel more cooperative.

Try starting a new game first and then reloading and old savegame - that has always worked for me when I had a crash ... and shoot all the monkeys you see as they seem to be the main culprit causing these erratic crashes...

That's the first thing I tried. I also reloaded all my savegames one by one, but the most recent ones always crash.

I've shot all the monkeys so far, as they seem very unfriendly.
