Clara, to answer your question about that door, it's through a door behind a waterfall a bit later on. The area past where you place either the Lion Key or the Serpent Gem.

Though sorry that you're getting a savegame bug. May I ask what happens exactly?

I can't load my savegames after making a break. The tomb4.exe doesn't work anymore then. But there are different ways to make the savegames work again - sometimes it helps to change the compatibility mode or when this does not help, I tick the administrator button or I start the game from the beginning and sometimes thus the savegames work again. But yesterday it took me 1 hour to make them work again.
As I mentioned before - it is the object in the baboon slot in the wad. If it is not placed in the map, everything works fine. Moreover it can be that everything works fine as long as the baboon is not triggered. I think this was the case in our "Dracula's Return". The only reliable way to avoid this bug is to leave the baboon slot alone, alas.

But meanwhile I could finish this great BtB-level anyway!!!!

well dear i confess that i have crash and
haven't seen so mush in a btb level (no i don't complain)
like this year
not only this level but all levels
i expect its the exe file
cos i play in windows mode and have always do
but this btb exe file are still active when u do other task from your desktop
(extremely ignoring)
and i an almost sure that there prevent your save games not the baboons
other then that, i can't help u dear

Ok I have been trying this spike thing all morning and I just get killed before I can jump to the ledge. I want to keep playing this level but can 't get to the levers. Will someone do it for me?

I have a streamer who had a baboon crash and deleted his saves :/

streamer is a person who broadcasts a game, in this case TRLE
the thread has just 2 savegames and none close to the actual spot
if you're playing this you can just give us the entire savegame folder
