Jose - Searching for the Holy Grail

Post by High Priestess » 18 Jan 2014 21:35

Just started playing this. I found and pulled a switch which opens a gate opposite and across the lake but Lara won't exit the pool due to the uneven edges - there's a nearby bridge but there doesn't appear to be enough time to reach the gate over the other side before it closes. Also two "Winged Warriors" of sorts are stuck running on the spot near the pool. I didn't appear to do them any damage when they charged at me so maybe that's a good thing they are stuck. Maybe I need to restart to establish whether they charged me first or whether I took fire mistakenly. Not found much else to do as yet, just exploring....

You'll have to do a jump over the river from where the lever is. Only if you are lined up perfectly straight you will be able to just jump across and save time.

I did the boulder-sequence and need the crowbar now. Has anyone already found it?

I'm up on the roof and trying to cross the swinging axe line. I burn or get wiped out by the blades with every move I try and make. what's the secret here?

edit: NM you just have to walk/stop through it slowly.

For all those who think the timed climb inside the tower with the revolver is too hard, download this video:

I'm actually still stuck near the start. I've been through the log "maze" area for the pick-ups and placed two Celtic Knots plus been into the timed gated area with anvil. I assume I have to use that JS near the spikes but only one lot of the spikes descend on approach. Can't see what else I have missed?

EDIT: I's OK I worked it out - got to keep using med packs

Walk onto the first spikes and run jump to the JS Did you find the Bow and Lasersight? You might want to shoot some items... Hints were given in the flyby at the start

I figured I must be missing something. I do have the bow but not the lasersight. I'll have to watch the fly-by again. I think I know what I need to aim at... thank you
